Online Education For All is a site that has foundational and advanced school topics that will be accessible and affordable to all students.
Despite the fact that public education is free for every student in the US, not every school has the same opportunities and lessons compared to schools in a better well off city. Nowadays, in order for students from lower economic status must play catch up by participating in outside camps or education tools that often cost a lot.
With a site like Online Education For All, the goal is to make online education accessible and affordable to all students who wish to advance their knowledge.
I participated in a community research approach where I spoke to members of my community to inquire about their own individual familial needs in terms of education and what there general experiences have been with summer programs or any online educational tools.

Landing page will contain a simple carousel that will contain main ideas of what the site is for and a section containing the mission the site is hoping to accomplish.

The about page will contain different sections that goes further into detail about who the company is, the problem the company has noticed, and the solution the company is hoping to provide.

In the early ideation phase of the site creation, it became evident that a page that contains the details of all the courses provided by the site would be beneficial for all new site users to gain an idea if this would be something they would consider subscribing to.

The get started page will serve to break down all of the steps for a new user so that they have a better idea on what to expect in the signing up process and what to expect after creating their accounts.

Student and parent versions of the log in page will be similar in layout and design with different visuals to help differentiate the two versions.

Sign up page is simple and similarly to the log in page, the sign up page will also have a student and parent vesion.

The idea behind the student self evaluating page is to assist the site's model of gearing future lessons that will be relevant to the student's current level of skill in each education topic.

The student homepage will have a simple layout where they can navigate to the daily lesson page, view their grades, go to their settings, and even go through the catalog of lessons tat are available for them to take.

In the daily lesson page, students will get a brief overview of the lesson and the skills they will be tackling before they choose to start the lesson.

The grades page will provide different progression checks to help keep the student motivated in their educational journey.

Quick and simple settings page.

Parent's will also be able to create their own accounts and link their child to them if they choose to do so. By doing this, parent's will be able to access their child's progress from their homepage.

Once parent's select a child they would like to check the progress of from their homepage, they will get sent to the overview page that provides a GPA for the topics they have taken lessons in.

Both students and parents will be able to see this page that will serve as a database report card containing all of the attempted lessons, the student's grade in that lesson, and the date they completed the lesson.

Here, the user will be introduced to the homepage of the site. There will be an image carousel showcasing the highlights of the site and prompting users to get started in their education journey.

Within the settings page, users will be able to personalize their app by inputting their names, the name of the company, adding a company logo to appear in their homepage, and can customize the messages they will be sending.

For users curious about the course subjects offered within the site, and if they were wanting to know exactly what lessons were offered, they could select on the “See More” button for each subject.

Within this page, we will provide all information new users will need to understand what the site is about. It will explain the account creation process for a parent and for a student, it will explain that new students can take a pre-assessment test to receive their daily lessons, and it will explain the significance of the certification received per lesson mastery.

Student and parent log in page.

Students and Parents can both choose to create their accounts separately. When they each create their accounts, they will be asked to link an existing student/parent account or to create a new account that they can then link.

Within the edit lead page, users can edit any information about their customers if any information was missing or has changed.

For those students who partook in a pre assessment, they will have access to receive tailored daily lessons of their subject of focus.

Students will be able to view their progress after logging into their accounts as well as a brief overview of their overall stats and their most recent subjects/lessons.

An idea on how the parent will be able to view all of their children that are linked to their accounts and will contain key progress details so they can quickly scan and have a good idea on their children's progress.

This is the page providing a quick overview of the total progression into their course.

Neutral Colors:
Neutral colors to avoid any issues for people who are color blind.
Dynamic Response
Dynamic response is in the works to accommodate a wide range of screen sizes.
Visuals:
A great sense of visuals is provided to assist navigating through the different versions of each page so parents and students can differentiate the pages to avoid confusion.
Impact
So far, this has had limited testing and is still in the works. Ideally, this will be released and accessible to the public to provide free supplemental education at minimum and affordable tailored lessons per student.
What I Learned
In the early research phase of the project, I learned just how many students want to learn and be involved in their career path but are often limited due to their available options. A need for affordable and accessible education is a must.
